Solar Decathlon: EarthTechling Earth Videos

This week we’ve been talking about the 2011 Solar Decathlon, where teams of college students compete in the field of eco-friendly and energy-conscious technology by building clean, green and beautiful model homes, all powered by the sun. The event is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, with the goals of finding innovative new ways to address the issues of energy conservation and environmental stewardship, and educating the participants and the public alike in how to make a difference on the planet.
