iPad Solar Bag Concept Powers Apple Lovers In Style

To charge your new iPad with a solar charger is not enough. No–if you are savvy enough to own the latest must-have gadget, and eco enough to seek renewable power for it, then surely you must have the Solar Panel Bag by Seo Eul Hwa , straight from Korea.

The only problem, being, of course, that this bag is just a concept. But surely someone will take it upon themselves to create this thing! Simple, simple, simple–a cute little backpack (white, of course) created just for your iPad, featuring a solar panel in the shape of (what else?) the iconic Apple logo. Just slip it on when you head out for a ride or take a walk to your favorite coffee shop. Not only will you be powering up your iPad, you’ll be sharing with the world your love for Apple. (The bag even features a carrier handle in the space cut out from the Apple logo for the ‘bite.’)

As far as we can tell, the bag makes use of a flexible solar panel, an internal battery and thermally-sensitive fibers (though we’re not sure what that last element does, really–does the bag itself work with body heat? Or are we just talking solar radiation?). There may be something lost in translation here, via Yanko Design, but the basic concept is clear: a solar-powered off-grid charger specifically designed for the iPad. Very cool.
