IoGear Showcases Solar Powered Bluetooth Hands-Free Kit

IoGear, a maker of a broad range of consumer technology products, made its own green tech contribution to the Consumer Electronics Show this week by unveiling a solar-powered Bluetooth kit for one’s car. The new Solar Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit (GBHFK231) is priced around $70 and available now.

IoGear said the Solar Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit sports an integrated solar panel to collect solar energy to charge its internal battery. It can be windshield or visor mounted and, with a fully charged battery, can offer up to 11 to 13 hours of talk time. It is designed to be paired with a mobile phone which has wireless Bluetooth capabilities.
