Funky Solar Ball Lights Bring Colorful Glow To Dark Pathways

Smart, funky and playful–who doesn’t love Japanese design? The Solar Ball Light is the case in point: waterproof little outdoor lamps that come in a rainbow of LED fruit flavors, ideal for entertaining, adding ambiance to outdoor living areas, or simply illuminating pathways and landscaping at night.

These tiny, long-lasting LED bulbs charge during the day, then light up outdoor settings at night. Available in four colors–clear, orange, green and pink–each Solar Ball Light is completely waterproof and features one LED solar-powered light  housed in a clear polycarbonate bubble, supported by a steel stand. According to Dvice, charging times average 2-5 hours, depending on the weather.

The Solar Ball Light does use one AAA battery (included), but uses solar energy to top it off, and one charge is good for up to 8 hours of light. Individual balls retail for $40 from Japan Trend Shop.
