Tommy Bahama E-Bike A Not Cheap Gift

Know someone who loves e-bikes–and funky beach cruisers, too? Tommy Bahama (better known for its line of restaurants and Hawaiian shirts) has the perfect present for you.

The Tommy Bahama Classic Electric Bike features funky Schwinn-esque styling and “deluxe finishing details,” including padded leather handgrips, a contoured padded seat, disc brakes and, of course, a bell. (How else to warn your fellow beach-goers of your approaching awesomeness?) This electric cruiser promises to eradicate all stress from your beach commute by helping you “power up hills, race into the wind and cover long distances,” via the rear-mounted battery pack, which provides approximately 40 miles per charge and a top speed of 20 mph.

At $2,675.00, the Tommy Bahama Classic Electric Bike is certainly not a cheap present. But if someone on your list has been very, very nice (and will let you borrow this bike when you want to hit the surf), perhaps it’s worth considering.
