5 Airlines Looking To Go A Little More Green

We’re all familiar with alternatives to gasoline when it comes to automobiles, from hybrid cars to completely electric vehicles and even the budding technology of solar powered cars. But sometimes, a car just can’t get you where you need to go. This is where airplanes come in, and due to concerns about greenhouse gas emissions and the less-than-eco-friendly implications of fossil fuels, they may come with a bit of personal conflict.

But lately, some airlines around the US have been getting on board (pun intended) with green initiatives that cut down on the pollution caused by traditional jets. From carbon offsets to emissions reductions to more fuel-efficient planes, sustainability is a growing trend among airlines.
