Clean Energy Tours: EarthTeching Earth Videos

We talk a lot here at EarthTechling about the various forms of renewable energy, and all the equipment and inventions that go along with them–from solar cells to wind turbines to . But did you ever wonder exactly how they work, how they are made, or how they convert wind, sunlight, or the Earth’s heat into electricity? How can all those little woodchips become power? If so, you’re in luck this week.

We’ve compiled a few videos that get up close and personal with clean energy facilities. We’ll be taking a look at how solar panels are manufactured, the inner workings of wind turbines, how biomass can be turned into energy, and how geothermal heat is converted to electricity. If you can’t get a tour of your nearest clean energy facility, we’ve got the next best thing.
