EarthTechling Earth Videos: Energy Savings

This week in EarthTechling’s Earth Videos, we’ve compiled a series of videos on energy efficiency in the home. The concept of energy efficiency in individual homes began in 1992 with the introduction of Energy Star by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to provide people with information on energy-efficient products and practices. Today, new homes are designed with efficiency in mind, such as requiring the installment of low-flow toilets to conserve water. The US Green Building Council is a non-profit organization that works to promote the construction of green, energy-efficient buildings in the US.
