Oregon Sustainability Center Updates Design

The Oregon Sustainability Center (OSC), currently planned for a build out in downtown Portland, Oregon, is a green building on a grand scale which we’ve covered before. The latest, and perhaps final, schematics of this multi-floor facility scaled towards triple net-zero performance in energy and water use and carbon emissions have been released now for public comment.

Take a gander at the photo gallery below of images just released by the OSC and, for those here locally in Portland, a public meeting and presentation of the final schematic design is scheduled for 6 pm on May 11 at the AIA Center for Architecture. We will also attempt to learn more about what changes have been made to the OSC’s design and let you know what we find out.

Stunning. Hope it hasn’t been dumbed down to suit “most” people. Good design has to fight.
