New iPad 2 Case Made From Greener Leather

The iPad has proven a hit with consumers everywhere, and so has the Eco-Vue iPad 2 Case, according to Mareware, its manufacturer.

The Eco-Vue Case is part of Mareware’s line of iPad cases — which includes the Eco-Envi Cover, and the Eco-Flip — constructed from Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) leather, ensuring that these cases are manufactured with a limited impact on the environment.

This case features a low-angle, foldaway table top stand for comfort while typing as well as an innovative hand strap, for ease of use while walking (just make sure you don’t run into anything). An elastic closure strap keeps the case in open or closed as desired, while a fold-over safety tab locks the iPad 2 in place. The case offers access to all those important ports, including the camera hole, via a cut-out in the back .

The Eco-Vue iPad 2 Case is available for $54.99 at your local Apple store and online from Mareware.
