The distinctive, aggressively-styled Saietta debuted at the MCN London Motorcycle Show, where it no doubt turned plenty of heads. It features wide handle-bars, a high line-of-sight, a low center of gravity and heightened wheel control for what is called “a dramatically capable man-machine synergy.”
Both the S and R models are billed as furiously fast (though the R model is more so) and both are powered exclusively by electricity, producing zero emissions from the tail-pipe. Technical specs on these two models are pretty damm impressive, with the S going 0-60 MPH in 5.5 seconds, while the R hits that rate in around 4 seconds. Range on the S is around 50 miles, with the R doubling that.
Of course, “the next generation of urban sports bike,” with all that power and good looks, doesn’t come cheap. The Saietta S is available for around $16,200, the R model for around $22,650.
