CES 2011: HP LE1901wl WLED Display

Helwett Packard, as usual, has unveiled a slew of consumer and business focused computer offerings at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show. One business display in particular which stands out to us because of its energy efficiency is the HP Compaq LE1901wl WLED Backlit LCD Monitor, pricing around $160 and available now.

The LE1901wl is a 19-inch display which is tilt adjustable and features a 16:10 aspect ratio to leave room on-screen for more content. It sports a VGA input for PC connectivity and also has VESA compatibility to provide a range of stand options. Other key features include a 1000:1 contrast ratio, up to 170 degree viewing angles and 5ms response time.

On the greener side of things, the LE1901wl is Energy Star 5.0 qualified, EPEAT registered at the Silver level and certified as a TCO 5.0 Displays product. HP says as well that, “in addition to a mercury-free WLED backlight, the display glass is arsenic-free,” making it easier to recycle when the time comes to replace the display.
