Audi Rolls Out Hybrid A6 For 2011

Combining “the power of a V6 with the fuel efficiency of a four-cylinder engine,” the soon-to-be-available Audi A6 hybrid surely will not be the most eco car on the road next year, but for a fast car, it looks pretty green.

Audi will be offering the A6 full-sized sedan with a choice of five powerful, highly efficient engines: two gasoline engines and three turbo-charged direct injection units, all of which are “highly energy efficient,” according to Audi. Whether you chose the hybrid model or a regular gas-engine version, you can rest assure knowing that the entire model line has decreased fuel consumption over the 2010 A6 by 19%.

The new model also comes with all the bells and whistles, including the latest in radio multi-media interface, an optional “head-up” wind-shield projected dashboard display, Bluetooth-enabled internet functionality and even seats with massage functions, should you so desire.
