Calling all Illinois cleantech start-ups: if you’ve got the potential to bring new clean energy technology to the marketplace, the Clean Energy Trust wants to hear from you.

The organization–founded by a variety of business and civic leaders in order to accelerate the pace of clean energy innovation in the Midwest–is now accepting applications for the Clean Energy Challenge, which will award $100,000 in cash prizes (provided courtesy of the U.S. Department of Energy) to the best young Illinois companies.
