iPhone 4 Cases Embrace Recycled Plastic

Multfunctional iPhone cases which are made in the United States and said to be eco-friendly? We’ve seen a few of these lately, which is nice, and are now happy to see yet some more. These come to us from Trtl Bot, a maker of iPhone accessories which make use of recycled materials.

The new Trtl Bot iPhone 4 cases are manufactured in Los Angeles, California from recycled plastic. Two models were announced, including the Kickstand 4 and Minimalist 4. Both will be available by the end of September for around $30. The Kickstand 4, as the name implies, lets one stand the iPhone in a variety of ways for looking at on-screen content. The Minimalist, meanwhile, is a more simple design which looks to be quite slim while also holding up to three credit cards.

“TRTL BOT is a group of designers, engineers, and artists who are inspired by simplicity and practical functionality, with the desire to create awareness about environmental issues,” stated Peter Gloria, president of TRTL BOT.  “We believe being eco-friendly is about buying recycled products, being locally made, and doing more with less.”
