New iPhone App Offers African Safari Audubon Style

Care to safari with James Audubon–in your pocket?  Meet the latest in Green Mountain Digital’s Audubon Guide Series for iPhone and the first to venture beyond North America: the Audubon African Wildlife app.

The application contains beautiful photography and a wealth of information on hundreds of species, helpful to the traveler on safari as well as those at home who just want to learn more about the African continent, including its most important nature preserves and wild areas, physical geography, climate and habitat zones. Like all of the Audubon Guide Series, the app was created in alliance with The National Audubon Society, taking its content from updated and expanded versions of the best-selling National Audubon Society Field guidebooks.
