Toyota seems to have a few different hybrid announcements up its sleeve today as we count down the remaining weeks to the Geneva Auto Show. The Japanese auto manufacturer earlier announced a production ready hybrid version of its European-focused Auris. Now its luxury Lexus division has teased out information about the upcoming CT 200h.
Details are few and far between at the moment on this luxury hybrid, but Lexus says the CT 200h will “be the first, and only, full hybrid vehicle in the premium compact segment. It will bring new levels of refinement, sophistication and attention to detail to the segment, without any compromise on style or driving pleasure.” It will also sport “second generation” Lexus Hybrid Drive technology.
That was about all the details Lexus gave out about the upcoming CT 200h. One has to wonder, given the announcement months ago about the LF-Ch concept, how much this new hybrid will resemble it.
