EcoRebates Helps Consumers Track Down Energy Star Rebates

One of the great things about the Energy Star program, besides the fact you know you are purchasing a more energy-efficient product, is the potential for rebates. It can be a little confusing though to understand how the rebates work and what’s available in their state. A new Web site called EcoRebates has debuted to help with this issue.

EcoRebates, according to a press release, “aggregates news and information on energy-efficiency incentives covering a wide range of products” across the United States on new energy-efficient household appliances. Consumers will be able to see rebates available in their areas as well as find links to local retailers where they can purchase products. Specific types of products mentioned include qualifying refrigerators, dishwashers, clothes washers, freezers, water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners, and more.

“Consumers shouldn’t have to be detectives to find available rebate information that’s relevant to them,” said Brett Battles, founder and CEO of EcoRebates.com, in a statement. “With hundreds of millions of dollars available today, and future programs being designed and launched all the time, consumers need a single place where they can go to get information they need to help guide their purchases.”
